Little Italy


One day, I will go to Italy. It has been number one on my travel bucket list for as long as I can remember. I love the food, history, and culture.

Going to Italy is most likely years away for us, so for now we will make do with what we have here. Unfortunately, we have yet to find an Italian restaurant near us that we love. We tried one a few weeks ago, and it was a bust.

Since that terrible outing, I have been craving a simple Italian meal. I came across a chicken parmesan recipe this week that looked to be easy, simple, and delicious. The best part? It was just that.

This Oven Baked Chicken Parmesan recipe was exactly what I needed to satisfy my Italian craving. The prep work was easy, and it didn’t take too long either!


My Findings:

This recipe is very filling! It calls for three chicken breasts, but since it was just the two of us eating, I only made two. Even after cutting out a chicken breast, we both will still have leftovers to take to work tomorrow-woohoo!

Turner’s Findings:

My humans discovered a few months ago that I love sweet potatoes (thanks Jenn and Aspen). Tonight, they bought me new food that has sweet potato in it. Italian? Nah… I was too distracted.

Sometimes it’s nice to take a break from the normal-everyday life and daydream a bit. Especially with a belly full of pasta. Where have you always wanted to go?
